Location

Location

We're located at 8100 S Rangeline Rd, south of Columbia, Missouri. The most direct route is usually via the Deer Park turnoff on Highway 63. To avoid the J-turn, take the airport exit instead. A blue feather flag marks our entrance and we'll direct you where to park once you enter.

FAQ

FAQ

If your question hasn't been answered above, please review the Frequently Asked Questions below. Still have a question? Send us a message here.

Do I need an appointment to pick?  Yes. Due to high amounts of interest, we've implemented a reservation-only system to ensure there are plenty of berries for you to pick when you come! We send out emails with upcoming picking times, so subscribe to be the first to sign up. We also post our picking times on our Facebook page. Click here to view current availability and make a reservation.

Do you have pre-picked berries available for purchase?  At this time, no, we are only a u-pick berry farm. Potentially in the future!

Can I pick a specific variety of blueberries?  Our berries are all subject to availability. Different varieties produce at different times in the season. Additionally, we have more or less bushes of different varieties, so there is no guarantee we’ll have enough of a specific variety ready to pick. You are welcome to ask when you arrive, but please be understanding if we can’t accommodate your request. We promise we’ll find another variety you’ll love!

Are there thorns on the plants?  No. Blueberries are so easy to pick! It's addicting!

Are your blueberries organic?  Our berries are organically grown, so they are the best nature has to offer. What they need is provided naturally. However, we are not certified organic.

Do you allow picking in the rain?  If there is only light rain, we will still allow picking. In case of heavy rain and thunderstorm activity, you will be contacted to reschedule.

When are blueberries in season?  Typically, blueberries in Missouri are ready to pick in June and early July.

Berry Care

Berry Care

Our berries will usually stay fresh in the fridge for 2-4 weeks, depending on the variety. You can store them in the bags you bring them home in, or you can transfer them to a breathable storage container. Our berries don’t have any chemicals on them, so you can eat them straight off the bush. If you do choose to rinse your berries, wait to do so until you’re ready to eat them.

For freezing, you can put your fresh berries right into a freezer Ziploc bag and into the freezer! Just be sure not to overload the bag—this could cause the berries to smash and stick together. We recommend filling the bag no more than about 2/3 to 3/4 of the way full.
